Experience the splendor and grandeur of the lush forest up in the rocky mountains while meeting influential editors and literary agents of the literary industry at the BANFF WRITER'S CONFERENCE. One on one consultations and small group workshops enable agents to discover new, or self-published, talented writers.

Self-published authors are encouraged to bring autographed copies of their novels to promote and sell. A specific area will be set up for this purpose.

Special arrangements will also be made for authors published by small, mid-sized, and large publishing houses to promote and sell their autographed novels.

Literary Agents attending the Banff Writer's Conference are actively seeking new authors and self-published authors.

The Banff Writer's Conference

-- October 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2003

-- and February 26th, 27th, 28th, 2004

-- each conference session (fall conference and winter/snow conference) will occur at a different conference facility. It could be at the Banff Cenre, the Rimrock Resort Hotel, or the Norquay's Timberline Inn.

-- Almost all hotels and overnight lodging are within walking distance to any location in the town of Banff. Transportation will be provided to the conference facility.

--August 26th, 27th, 28th, 2004--the summer writer's conference will be in the beautiful, cosmopolitan, coastal city of Vancouver, Bristish Columbia, Canada.

The key to success is NETWORKING, MARKETING, AND PROMOTING. The literary industry professionals are turning more and more to WRITER'S CONFERENCES for manuscript submissions from writers who attend. Networking by meeting people face to face still makes all the difference in the world.

We are also going to test a new method, cyber-phone-one-on-one consultations, for those writers who simply can't break away from their daily life to attend a writer's conference. Literary Agents and Editors attending the conference can view a writer's 20 page submission from our writer's conference on site computer while speaking to the author via phone (15 minute limitation). These will be pre-determined, scheduled times.
